Authorize.net is fraudulent. Based on an unproven recommendation, we created a test account on Authorize.net to try and see if we would use their services about three years ago to process credit card transactions for a non-profit organization known as Multi-Stake Singles, a group within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. After concluding their services were more expensive and less effective than using PayPal, we terminated the service - Twice! It hasn't worked though.
They continue billing us $20 / month for 3 years when we've never processed a single transaction through them. We can't get their management to call us and stop this or refund our money. We are going to have our bank close the account or block this ACH. Beware authorize.net - even on their website it says we are only a "Test" account and no billing should take place but once they get access to your account, they start billing you.
