I had the unpleasant experience this week of opening my phone bill to see that it had doubled. Knowing that I had indeed paid it last month, I looked at it more closely and noticed that I was being charged for services I did NOT authorize. These "services" were from Enhanced Services Billing Inc. After some additional research, I discovered that this company currently has a lawsuit against it by the government for fraudulent practices. However, what is also disturbing is that AT&T was more than happy to include non-AT&T services on the bill that is generated from an AT&T office. Check your bills carefully for services you did not order and BEWARE if you see charges from Enhanced Services Billing Inc. On your phone bill!
