Valentines Days 2008 Disaster. FTD's biggest holiday was my biggest nightmare.
I ordered an arrangement on Tues Feb 12 online for delivery at my wife's office on Valentines Day. I felt safely covered with their policy to substitute if my item was not available. When I received an email Feb 13 that confirmed my Order Had Shipped, complete with FedEx tracking number I was very relieved. Off to my business meeting I go Feb 14th knowing my wife will be pleased with the flowers. Checking email on a break, the following little surprise is waiting:
"Thank you for your recent purchase from FTD.com for xxx.
Regretfully, the promotional product you ordered is no longer available. We apologize for the inconvenience. A full refund has been issued to your payment method.
It's not too late to order for Valentine's Day. To order from our extensive same day delivery product line, please click http://ftd.com/love1 and enjoy a $20 discount on your order.
Thank you for shopping with FTD.com. We appreciate your business."
Without web I had several failed calls to FTD to try and deliver something else. I returned to business with a sick feeling knowing my wife was the only women in her office this Valentines Day without flowers..
Their $20 discount was useless as was FTD's this phone service. Six computer animated drops in a row - "we can not help you today." Never again will I use this company. NEVER
FTD = Forget The Delivery.
