Told would be sold within 6 months, nothing happened

Was told they were a 10 year business with 21 websites, they arranged buyer financing contract closing I only had to pay the fee of $599 and they did everything, looked on the website next day and the unit was advertised, have not heard anything since and cant find my unit.
