I too have received a charge, $7.32, (for a call on 12/26/07) on my Verizon statement from OAN Services for "Dir assistance NV" I have filled out a service inquiry form on the OAN website indicating I did not call the number 101 515 8000 indicated on the Verizon statement. I asked to have this charge removed and credit my Verizon account.
I notified Verizon in writing of the error/fraudulent charge and did not pay them for it and do not intend to pay it in the future.
I also asked Verizon for the names of the local, State and Federal agencies to file a complaint with. I believe this is the only way to stop this type cramming. Thanks to usacomplaints.com for a venue to keep tabs on this type of "ripoff"
