I was a co-owner in a business 7 years ago in Denver, CO. I signed an agreement with a local credit card merchant servicing company. This company then turned around and signed a lease with Northern Leasing for twice as long for the equipment lease. I was never informed that the equipment lease was separate from the merchant servicing. The lease created between the merchant servicing company and Northern Leasing for the equipment was for twice as long as for the merchant processing. Why would anyone need the equipment lease any longer than the processing? Why was I not informed by the merchant processing company? We ended up closing our business.
We completed the contracted period for credit card processing we decided to close our business. It wasn't until much later, that I was contacted by Northern Leasing that suppossedly we had a contract with them.
I spent 2 years trying to resolve this through the merchant processing company and the person who forged the contract with Northern Leasing wouln't even take my phone calls. For several years following this I tried discussing it with Northern Leasing. They would not listen to anything I had to say. They have spent the last 7 years harassing me for a contract that I never even entered into. I hope that anyone thinking of doing business with this company will think twice and not have to go through what I have been through.
