In 2001 I leased to buy credit card processing equipment from Northern Leasing. I was told by the sales rep that on October the equipment would be mine and the lease would expire.in April I Noticed Northern leasing was continuing to withdraw 37.95 from my bank account. I contacted Northern Leasing by e-mailtheir response was they could not find a contract with my name.
I went to my bank closed my account and opened a new account which stopped Northern Leasing from taking further money from me.
Amazingly, Northern leasing seems to have found a lease for me saying I signed a non-cancable agreement with them. Who in their right mind would sign a non canceling agreement?
Northern Leasing is threatening a law suit along with fines if I do not give them my new bank account immediately.
Not sure how to proceed with this unscrupulous company, but I would advise everyone to avoid Northern Leasing.
If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
