Inc. Stole my money and never moved my items! Tarpon springs

In the fall of I contracted with Nex Move of Clearwater to move my items. They took a deposit from my assistant via credit card, and charged me $1000 when they delivered half the shipment, noting that they would deliver the rest within a week. They never did and I was left stuck with a $888 credit.

To make matters worse, the owner, Bobby, told me that the men I was dealing with had stolen hundreds of thousands of dollars, and that he was in a lawsuit. He said that he would refund the $888 as soon as he straightened things out. I never heard back from him.

This branch of Nex Move has since moved to the following address in Tarpon Springs: 752-A Anclote Road, Tarpon Springs, FL 34689

Needing to move items long distance and believing Bobby's story that it was renegade employees who were the problem, I called Nex Move in early January and received a quote of $895 to move the items. I asked to have my credit of $888 applied, which they said they couldn't do because the matter was part of a criminal lawsuit. When I reminded them that my original deal was with Nex Move, not their employees, they reluctantly agreed to split the difference and move my items for $450.

Nex Move immediately charged the money to my AMEX. They are listed as "Minimum Moves, Inc." on my statement with the following information:

Minimum moves inc
4490 alternate 19 north
suite 301
palm harbor fl 34683

Since January 2, Nex Move/Minimum Moves or whatever they are calling themselves these days haven't shown to retrive my items, they've told me at least three times that they would credit my AMEX and haven't, and now their manager, Bill Eiserman, refuses to answer my calls.

These people are liars and thieves and should not be trusted. I have filed a fraud alert with AMEX, so am protected there. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of West Florida. Www.bbbwestflorida.org I suggest that anybody who has had poor dealings with these people — and from what I can tell there are many — do the same.

They should be in prison!!!
