Today I receive a postcard stating the Tom Tom I purchased on Black Friday was ineligible for the $40 rebate due Invalid Outside promo date.
Again, both are Staples fault. When I called they said they were aware that there was a Server problem on Black Friday and the order dates were wrong. Another email I received on Dec. 11 said:
We appreciate your inquiry concerning this issue, Kimberly.
I have received your inquiry about the status of your rebate. I have refunded your Master card $20
and sent you $20 courtesy coupon to make the $40 rebate. You will receive the refund within 5
business days and courtesy coupon $20 within 10 business days.
I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please contact us if you require
further assistance.
Thank you for your patience concerning this matter.

I can't believe more people aren't having the same trouble with the STAPLES.com Black Friday rebates.
I've now ripped on $80.00 in rebates. Thanks Staples, and Merry Christmas.
