Disabled Husband Vonage is charging for Services that was never used Internet

I have a disabled husband and we live on a fixed income. We have medical life line hooked up to our phone. Was on internet and signed up with Vonage, who advertises a month free of service for $24.99 with a 60 day money back guarantee. Signed up for service on 10/13/07. Vonage obly has 1 phone # and is only open Mon-Fri. So I called them back on 10/15/07 to cancel my order because the medical equipment had to have someone from the company come out to do this. Figured this was not the greatest idea.

I called on 10/15/07 to cancel was told this could not be done because system was updating. Called back on 10/17/07 and was told I would have to pay $39.99 for deactivation. They had already charged my card for $47.94 The 1 Month free did not give information that you had to pay $29.99 to avtivate the account.

They activated the account on 10/13/07and it became active without me even receiving the router that is needed for their service. I never received the router until 10/24/07 and many calls to cancel the account which on 10/23/07 I caled and told them to cancel and they said this could not happen until I returned the router.

It is now 11/19 My account has been Charged 47.94,31.78 and 33.00 because rhey overdrew my account.
