Joseph Miner rented a house to my girlfriend WITHOUT a rental agreement. She needed to clean the house herself before she moved in. After she gave thirty day notice, he promised to return a rent check that was postdated for the following month. Later he claimed he destroyed it, but deposited it anyway. He later sued for a bad check, outlandish damages, and excessive rent. He produced bogus receipts, pictures of trash, and perjured himself in court in order to make a profit. He is vindictive, conniving and a crook. Shortly after suing us, he began the same type of action against Jill and Andy McNamara of Cathedral City. Mr. Miner will apparently go to any length to make a dollar, deserved or not.
