This is the excerpt from the BBB complaint I had to file last winter:
I purchased a 28 piece silk flower package from Custom Silk Creations on July 7. I was called promptly by Susan to give the owner details about my order. Since then, it has been a nightmare. I was told I would receive pictures of my flowers for approval last August. The website claims it takes about 4-6 weeks. It took a total of 22 weeks to even get pictures of my flowers.
By that time it was December I had only been sent pictures of my bouquet, when I specifically requested pictures of all my flowers before they were shipped. I approved the bouquet but wanted to see the rest of my order. The owner apparently forgot about the rest of my order. I was extremely patient with Susan but she missed numerous promised deadlines. I had to contact Custom Silk Creations repeatedly and I received promises that my order would be completed "soon".
Finally, I got fed up and decided to get my flowers elsewhere. I was to be given a store credit for $125, the cost of my package.
I recently decided I would never need flowers of this caliber again so I wanted to cash in on my store credit so I could at least try to sell the flowers myself. I contacted Susan via email repeatedly to see how I could use my store credit on the website. She said I needed to use the code I was given with my store credit. The problem is, I was never sent a code for my store credit and now Susan is basically ignoring me and refuses to give me any sort of refund.
I am now out $125. Susan is dishonest, lazy, and sneaky. The promises she makes on her website are not kept and her communication skills are horrible. She avoids answering emails which require her to do something. When she does answer you, it is with one word answers, so it's almost impossible to get anywhere wither her. Also, if you ever need a refund, I suggest you get it in writing because she will refuse to give it to you otherwise.
Please, if you care about your money, get your flowers elsewhere. It will be worth the extra money, I guarantee it. This is a good example of "you get what you pay for".
