I recieved a pink letter in the mail saying that I was part of a sweepstakes and I had an ID number. I called and gave them my ID number. They explained that I had to buy two magazines in order to enter and that I could cancel at any time. They kept adding magazines to my order making sound like a really good deal. Before I knew it they asked for my credit card number. I was stupid and gave it to them but they kept telling me that I could cancel at any time and that sounded ok. It is now 4 weeks later. I have recieved the free gifts they promised but I haven't recieved any of the magazines and I have already been charged $130. I just called to try and cancel and they said that it usually takes 4-8 weeks before I recieve anything and that I had to wait and view the magazines before I could cancel. They lowered my monthly payment but they wouldn't let me cancel my membership.
