I recieved a call from a person saying i was being entered in a sweepstakes. As part of the entry I was going to recieve this magazine offer from Area Circulation. They told me i would recieve magazines for about 60 months and pay $74 for 12 months.
I have tried numerous times to cancel the subsciption with them and they will not allow me to. The magazines I was receiving at this time weren't even the ones i asked for. So I tried to let them know that I wasn't happy with the service and if I going to pay for it I wanted to receive the magazines I paid for. Well they kept on telling me that it would take from 8 to 12 weeks for that change to occur. I kept on receiving bills to pay for the magazines I didnt request.
So I called once again and all they do is offer to lower the payment amount or change the amount of magazines i recieve. They even asked if I would like to give the magazines o a friend but still continue paying for them.
I no longer have the time to read the magazines or the money at the moment. I would just like to cancel the account and not have to deal with this anymore.
