Ripoff fraudulent business

I purchased and paid for an extended warranty on my Ford Explorer.

Two weeks ago I had a major repair. My Transfer Case had to be replaced to the tune of $2,200. My first thought was that I sure was glad that I had purchased this extended warranty. My service company tried to contact them, but the phone was disconnected.

I have not been able to find out any more information on them other than this site. I have no idea what I have to do.

Do we have any recourse? I feel totally ripped off. Do we have to hire a lawyer?
