They had to install my new bedroom set FIVE times before they even made it acceptable. This was after numerous calls, wasted trips to meet incompetent installers, and having the bed completely fall apart once due to improper set up.
I wanted to move the furniture around recently and discovered just what a shoddy job they had done. The canopy top was only secured at two corners due to missing support screws. The mirror fell off the dresser! It was only sitting there. They had never installed the supports!
So, I called the store and spoke to my salesperson. Polite, but nothing happened. I called back two days later and spoke to a support clerk. She promised an immediate call back. Never happened. I finally reached Gary, the assistant manager. He said that customer service (a Dallas area operation for all stores) probably wouldn't do anything to help, but I was welcome to try.
At that point, I suggested that at the least I could get a listing on Yahoo that would warn everyone who took that path to stay away! Guess what? He told me someone, in fact several someones, had beaten me to it! He was right! But, I'm adding my two cents worth anyway. It it saves ONE customer the headaches I've been through, it will be worth the time.
