Horrible service, misleading ingormation was giving by sales representative

I was looking for a carpet for my bedroom. I came to a Home Depot store in NE Philadelphia. Found the carpet I liked and went to the floor department to set up a time for installation. I have been told by a sales rep that I ll have to buy a padding along with a carpet if I want to have it installed by tech from that store. I asked how much would it cost and ve been told that the cheapest one would be $67 per roll. I did my math and agreed to pay $35 measurement fee toward installation. Also, I ve been told that a guy from measurement department will come on Monday, around 4 pm. (I work till 3:30). However, on Monday morning 7:30, I got a call from a measurement department that he will be at my place between 10:30 and 1:30 pm. WTF??? What's the point of scheduling a service if they don't keep the appointment? It took me all Monday to reschedule th measurement. I had to call to the store 3 times, guys from flooring department would simply hang up on me. I also tried to reach a store manager, but no luck whatsoever. Anyway, finally, I got the service rescheduled on Tuesday. On Tuesday a guy came, took all the measurements and told me that someone from the office will contact me shortly. On Wednesday I got a call from the office and ve been told that I actually have to buy more expensive padding (not the one for $67). The reason is that installers want to use their padding and not the one that store rep showed me at the first time. Moreover, I ve been told that I have to pay for 24.5 sq yards of carpet instead of actual size of my room 19 sq yards. So, I tried to get an explanation of what kind of magic happened to increase 19 sq yards room to 24.5 sq yards. A lady from flooring department wasn't nice and told me that they will do my carpet in 4 pieces with seams. I have never been told about this at the first time. She finally hang up on me with no explanation. I reached a store manager on duty and got crapy explanation that the carpet I ve chosen can't bee installed in one piece. I don't want to deal with this store anymore. Will never buy anything from them and will never recommend their service to someone. I feel that I have been taken advantage of because I am a woman. They think if I am a female I don't understand how things work. So disappointed. This is not a customer service that customer should get if they pay money for service and product. Went to Lowe's instead and very happy with their service! Shame on Home Depot.
