Service horrible not worth the money total rip off

HI first off i want to let everyone know that comcast is the worst service ever i have had them since they took over suburban cable. They only had tv service then they were just about coming out with the internet and even then i filed a report with the board of public utlities i was getting flickering and micro-blocking squares thats caused by a signal issue on my tv this was 7 years ago.

I had to file this report because the technican that came out were greenhorns they didnt know what to do at all for me i had one technican that hit the box with there hand banged it to get it working is that professional or what thats not a way to resolve an issue banging a cable box.

They checked the levels and said everything is fine obviously it wasnt fine if it was fine my signal would be okay constant flickering for 7 years and it wasnt on every channel either it was dealable but very annoying if you were to record a channel back then they really didnt have dvd-recorder or anything like that i was gonna record something on tape from tv. Once in awhile from like pay per view a good movie to record on tape but you wouldnt believe the flickering on a movie thats $3.99 a piece full of flickering it was a waste i would say it flickered 4 or 5 times through the whole movie i had to erase the whole tape. That was back in around year 2001 around there.

Now They have a package where you can bundle your tv, internet and phone all on one package its called the triple play package we upgraded to a package a year ago. I have to be honest you will save money with this package but to save 30 to 40 bucks a month is not worth the problems i am about to explain to you. See your stuck in a 2 year contract the early termination fee is $150. You can also get one year and you dont pay termination fee.

Right now i have several problems that i want to tell everyone The phone service comcast digital voice runs over the interent dont be fooled when the comcast reps tell you that it doesnt run on the internet it does it runs on a seperate server it doesnt touch your interent bandwidth but its not like vonage and the others go out to the public internet comcast doesnt they stay into comcast servers more secure network but thats a whole lot of problems its still not a landline its still a ip phone service and with ip phone services i have exprienced robotic voices, static, sounded like i am underwater, and dropped calls. And now they have a problem in the switch i cant make long distance calls or toll-free numbers intermitently.

The internet service i have no compliants that works fine the phone service they have alot work to do on that cause its only been out for about a year here now. The tv service i dont know what there gonna do they have perfected that better but its still annoying 2 flickering per movie is quiet annoying.

And another thing i want to add the on demand had alot of problems too i would get meta 6- err-6 communications error and each of boxes intermittely. A Technican came out recently about the on demand i let him in i showed him my problem i told him i want someone higher up to fix this problem for me its only on one tv but the other tvs are fine whats going on. Before it was on 3 see it changes from 3 tvs to 2 tvs then 1 again. Then back to all of them sometimes when they get here it works sometimes when they get here it doesnt work its hard to tell.

So the technican went in his truck. He came back 3 minutes later in the house and told me a supervisor would be in touch. Well i know of friend that works at comcast i am not giving anyone any names. I called him up telling him that he didnt fix the box and the technican that i called said why didnt he just replace the box that would have fix the whole problem.

Well the technican also said that why wouldnt you let the technican that came to my house in i said what. I let him in he lied in his supervisor and to the other technican put notes to the customer service computers saying that i refused to let them in to do there work and everything was fine.

I Dont recommend comcast to anyone especially what i have went through. What i recommend is if you in a verizon area go to verizon check and see if verizon fios is available in your area if fios is not available you might qualify for directv you be eligable for there triple play package through verizon but you must qualify for dsl in your area to get that package so dsl must be available.

Good luck and Hope nobody has the same problems i had with comcast for 7 years the only reason why i am staying with them cause we watch the philadelphila phillies baseball and philadelphia eagles football and the channels is comcast sportsnet philadelphia and directv does not have that so we are waiting for fios fios is not currently available in vineland yet. An fios does have that channel i already looked it up on there channel line up for southern new jersey its coming here soon hopefully i cant wait to get rid of terrible comcast:)
