My husband and I were suckered into this mess about 3 years ago. We had 2 children, new house, good credit, good jobs. After charging up 3 credit cards to "fund our dreams" we were sinking quickly, but they urged us to keep focused! To alienate ourselves from all negativity (family, church, etc.)
Now, all of it is gone. We were led to file Ch. 7 Bankruptcy and are still mending the broken pieces of all the lies our supposed "uplines" filled our heads with. All those weekends we left our babies with the grandparents while we were attending rallies to "Dream Big" The weekend we spent in Nashville at a convention, in our "Diamond's" suite until 2 am, listening to his fish stories, looking back, it's so sad, and stupid! Get out while you can. The standing tape order is where they have you. You start believing that after awhile. I even look down on my own father for not wanting to "look at the plan"..
If it sounds too good to be true, it is! You don't need to pay $30 for laundry detergent anyway! We lost it all, house, credit rating, down to selling our kids toys at a yard sale. It's NOT WORTH IT! Our dreams aren't lost, just a few years behind, but we still hurt over it.
