Wow, where to start! This is Amway, Quixtar is an Alticore company, and Team of Destiny was renamed to TEAM. It is a business of selling tapes, books and seminars.
It is the main income of the con-men leading this company. The AG, Michigan has hundreds of complaints on file, and that is what they do, file them. When you ask why they don't do something, they say "sue them"
Alticore (Amway-Quixtar) is a major employer in Michigan. TOD AKA TEAM works the scam of buying from the Quixtar site which is major overpriced. But the real income is selling their tool system, which are really tapes at seminars and rally's, the same stuff over and over.
They make you feel like you were a loser and now you can be a winner. There is a winner and it is the top cons who win. Dateline did a very complete review to expose this scam and the Quixtar-Amway link. Very comprehensive, even showing pictures of the home office in Ada, Mi, showing Amway and Quixtar to be one in the same.
All the people who say they like it are just in pure denial because they would have to admit they were ripped off and that they cannot do.
I got in; eyes open, thought it was an internet commerce business, which is what they tell you, and sounded good.
I found out it is no such thing. Quixtar pushes private label products which huge, monster mark-ups. TOD, now called Team pushes false dreams.
The big con man Orrin Woodward throws in some religion to spice it up. They even have a pastor who preaches it from the pulpit.
The kool-aid is in every tape you listen to.
Many go to the rallies as an escape from their lives, hoping there really is something there, but there is NOT!
You won't be able to find a soul, not one person to show you what they make. They have special tapes that help you con new people when they ask good questions as they really don't have good answers.
As in most things, if you want the truth, follow the money!
This is NOT the American dream; it is the old Amway shuffle, with a different name, but same game.
