My daughter had sent off for the brochure that "A Solid Gold Sound" advertised and it was very impressive. We called the 800 number and paid $895 for a video of the wedding and reception that was September 9.
Two days before the wedding I called them and spoke to the sales person and told him that no one had called us about taping the video. Finally someone called back and made the arrangements. He taped the ceremony and reception and like others have commented, he seemed to be new, and didn't seem to know to go and interview the guests at the reception.
About a month after the wedding I tried calling the videographer and the cell number he had given me had been disconnected. I then called the 800 number and spoke to the sales department and he said I would need to speak with Rob and transferred me to his voice mail. I never received a call from "Rob". Then I called back a few weeks later and listened to their message and sent an email to "Rob". No one ever called me or emailed me back.
I then did some searching on the Internet and found this site and see that numerous others have had the same problem with them. I tried calling my bank to reverse the charges on the charge card, but it had been over 60 days.
I have contacted the better business bureau in Cincinnati and filed a report with them.
I feel sick about not having my daughter's wedding and reception video and am angry that this company seems to have been doing this to people for a few years, yet they continue to sell and advertise on the Internet.
