Eceived a bill from afni stating that I owe on an old address from verizon. I do not remember the address but they keep insisting I lived there. I am not saying that I didn't but I wanted more info about it. They became very argumentative and I did every thing I could to not swear at them as that would get me nowhere. They say that the bill is from 8/97 and is for 1040.97.
Of course verizon has no info for me because afni bought it out and it is too old. I deff. Plan on disputing this the same way everybody else has. Can anybody tell me how the statue of limitations works for something like this in washington state? I thought it was 6 yrs.! How does the statue work and what does this mean for me.
Once again this so called bill is 10yrs. Old. Thanks in advance! Any other advice is greately accepted also!
