Rebate ripoff Lies lies more lies

I had been a T-Mobile customer for about 18 months and decided to get new phones.

I went to a local mall and the kids in the store told me to call T-Mobile direct for a better price OK not bad customer service.

So I call in, Spoke to customer service, placed an order for a Motorola Razor for me and get my parents phones and add them to my plan.

I was given the old bait and switch told the prices after rebates ($ 50.00 for each phone $ 150.00 total) and the next thing you know I get a bill for $ 451.00!

Now I am pissed!!! But it is within the rebate period and I get the rebate form; I need to send 3 items, 1.) the shipping label, 2.) the IEIN from the phone and 3.) a copy of my contract.

That is sent in before the deadline and I wait and get more steamed.

Shipping Label??? They sent the phones, I signed for them they know I got them and have proof of such!!! Why do I have to jump thru hoops?

IEIN they have the internal identification number as part of their inventory control!!! Why do I have to send them information already available to them?

Copy of My contract? It was a VERBAL, I called it in, my word is good enough for a contract but not a rebate?

I am more than mad, I review the bill and see that I paid $ 139.95 for a Motorola Razor ($ 89.95 after rebate) when I could have got a Razor for $ 49.99 from Verizon with the instant rebate and got the 2 additional phones for free!!! Can you say RIP OFF?

I call T-Mobile 11/2/06 Speak to Jill who tells me to wait 6 weeks for the mail-in rebate.

11/16/06 I call T-Mobile and speak to Kathleen, who tells me the rebates are processing and hands me off to a T-Mobile Senior Representative Sarah who said she will help and if I agree to waive the mail in rebate she can credit my account for $ 150.00. I said sure go ahead.

The credit never goes thru but I am unaware until I get my next bill.

12/3/06 I get my next bill, no credit.

I call T-Mobile 12/4/06 Terri tells me that the credits are pending, she gives me her Supervisor Michelle who again states that the credit is pending that it takes 12 weeks for the credits to post but guaranteed the rebates were showing on the system. And she does not know why the last rep cancelled the credit.

1/3/07 Still no rebates, I call T-Mobile, talk to a rep who sends me to the Young America line that has no manned phone lines. I get a recording that they show no pending rebates and get disconnected.

I have been lied to regularly, the supervisors have misrepresented the company and I have lost all faith in the product and service.

How much interest can you get on $ 150.00 to make this worth while?

Anyone who chooses T-Mobile as a carrier has made a poor decision.
