Rebate ripoff Mail-in Rebate NEVER Received

I have been a T-Mobile customer for nearly 5 years.

This past May... I "upgraded" my cell photo to a Motorola V360... And was required to mail in a form for a $50 rebate.

I bought the phone at my local T-Mobile store... And stated: "Why don't you give me the $50 rebate RIGHT NOW?"

They said... I have to mail it in... Along with part of the box top, paperwork and receipt.

I said..."Do it for me"... And they refused.

Well... 10 weeks later... No rebate. Prior to mailing in the rebate... I went to the wesbite and filled out a form on line, and received a confirmation number.

When I checked for my rebate... No records are found. And NOWHERE is there a spot to enter the confirmation number on the website!

I called T-Mobile... And they said my rebate was not yet received. I said... I sent it in nearly 10 weeks ago... And HAVE proof that I did not return the phone... Have all receipts and photocopy's... And so on...

It doesn't matter... They "need" the "original" UPC off the box.

I said that you guys KNOW that I did not receive a rebate... And I still own the phone.

After being with them for 5 years... I will never re-new my contract... And tell each and every person I know to avoid them.

Why do they have a call center... And employee hundreds of people just for rebate information?

Wouldn't it be more cost effective not to hire all these folks... And give the rebates instantly at the local store?

Or... Do they have other motives: IE:

Hoping people will forget about their rebates... Or forms "disappearing" in the mail. Rememeber... They make an extraa $50 for every rebate that isn't processed!

T-Mobile stated that they are NOT responsible for the mail service (IE US Mail)...

Sounds like to me that T-Mobile would be committing Mail Fraud by accusing the US Mail service for not delivering thousands of missing rebates!

I will contact the US Postal Service and file a complaint.

A Class Action suit is needed to wake up T-Mobile!

I have bought and sold... And received over 3000 packages and/or letters from people off of E-Bay.

NOT A SINGLE letter or package was ever lost in 7 years!

Don't blame the US Mail T-Mobile!!! You are asking for lawsuits!

But... When it comes to rebates... Things disappear!!??
