I received a worse tattoo by going to Tattoo MD than the one I that I went there to remove.
I attended "Dr". Kaplan's consulation in Oct of '05 to inquire about having two tats removed. He told me it would take 6 to 8 sessions and while they're not cheap, I'd get a much better rate if I paid in advance. I agreed and gave him $2,700.00 (two thousand seven hundred dollars).
After the 4th session, without noticing so much as a tiny bit of lightening up on one, and only perhaps a hint of some lightening on small portions of the other, I informed his office to just get rid of the one and to leave the one that hadn't made a dent. It was now evident that it would take far more than the 6 to 8 Dr. Fraudlan had told me about. It's now Nov '06 and not only have I had 8 full sessions on the one tattoo, but there's still little, if any, evidence that it's going away. To make matters worse, Tattoo MD is now asking me for $250.00 for each additional session and I'm guessing I'm looking at another 10 sessions mimimum to remove the tattoo which would make the total over 5 grand.
His assistant tells me that 6 to 8 was just an estimate.
It's guys like "Dr". Kaplan that justify web sites like this. It's a total scam. Don't go to this place and be wary of any tattoo removal practice.
