I've been going to tattoo blues for about a year now & I love my tats they do great work. But I went in with pictures of what I wanted to get & told them where, they gave me a quote. Gave them the $600 that they quoted me for my tat & the tat artist started drawing my tat. After two sessions the owner, tat artist, & the piercer pull me aside to plead their case that they "under bid" my tattoo.
I'm not unreasonable & this is not my 1st tat I agreed with them, so we came up with a $300 price adjustment I paid them $300 & we continued with the 3rd session. I go back for my forth session & the owner has the nerve to tell me I need to start paying by session because my tattoo was costing them money. They quoted the tat at $600. I was nice enough to pay $300 more. That's $900 for a 3/4 sleeve not completely filled in so far & I'm about half way done!
Keep in mind in 12 months I've spent $1600 on tats for myself, $1000 on my wife's tats & piercings my brother-in-law has spent $2000. (and that's not including tips) I work in the service industry & that's not how you do business, especially with a tattoo that's somebody's body part, in my case from bicep to wrist 3/4 of my arm.
So beware if buy a tattoo from "Tattoo Blue's" they might hold you hostage with it & have you singing the Blues to. (no pun intended)
