On Sept 6 I was shopping in Office Depot, saw a software program "similar" to what my wife asked for. After conferring with the cashier, I was convinced that the Office Depot policy was a full refund for returned software - if unopened and returned within 14 days.
HOWEVER... After checking reviews online for the software product I bought - I found that it was poorly ranked in the same category of software, so... I returned the exact package - unopened 2 days later to the Hialeah, Fl. Store where the Manager refused a refund - said he'd only issue me a gift card (store credit) regardless of the company's policy.
I asked him to give me the Regional Mgr. Phone number so I could protest this, he refused and walked away and would not rewturn to speak to me-
I will never shop in any Office Depot again, as this was the most horrendous shopping experience I've ever had in 56 years - I ask that you support me in this, as this company does NOT deserve making money friom hard working people like us - I got the refund by disputing the charge with my Credit Card company which protects us/me from such abusive practices...
