Let the buyer beware of Harbor Freight Tools!
I ordered a Micro Flush Cutter over 8 months ago from Harbor Freight Tools. 6 weeks later (2 weeks after the item should have arrived) I got a printout in the mail saying it was out of stock and they had decided to put it on back order. So I tried to be patient and just wait.
3 months later I get a card in the mail that the item is still out of stock and I had to return a signed part of this card to tell them I still wanted what I ordered. (it never told me what to do if I want a refund) I filled out the card and mailed it back.
3 1/2 months later I emailed the Customer Service Manager at Harbor Freight Tools (Sue Davis) and I asked if they EVER intend to send me what I paid for. Their response was from a "Cheryl Parker" who proceeded to tell me that the item I order had been canceled some time ago and how it was my fault, cause I didn't send them the card back telling them I still wanted the item.
I swiftly emailed a response to Mrs. Parker that she was a liar, cause I did mail the card back and anyway, if YOU canceled my order so long ago, WHERE'S MY MONEY? I then asked if they just took it upon themselves to consider my money a donation, but I have never gotten a response from anyone there or my money back.
I guess they think I'm the one whos being unreasonable, cause after waiting 8 months I had the nerve to get angry when they blamed me for the whole thing and kept my money.
Taking my funds via the U.S. Postal Service and not sending the item ordered or a refund is FRAUD.
I will be going to the Better Business Bureau and the Post Office to file charges of mail fraud against Harbor Freight Tools this next week.
I encourage everyone who has been cheated by this Dishonorable Company to do your part and file charges against these ripoffs.
I'm also making a sign to put on the back of my truck to warn people about this company.
