I have been with Alltel since Nov of (when I moved to NC). I have had no problems until March when I added my daughter to our plan. I asked the sales reprentative if her phone would have unlimited text messaging and she informed me yes! I even asked her a little while later to double check and make sure she was correct in her answer. Her first month of text was free so I had no clue of what was going to happen on my next bill.in May I recieved a bill of over 400.00 (my bills normally only 110.00) and when I called to ask what happened she told me that I had over 200.00 in text messaging fees. The rest was charges for calls in MyCircle Plan which was completely credited. When I told her that the rep had informed me that all text would be free she said I got the wrong information and that all text was free for first 300 messages incoming or outgoing then after that it was 8 cents per message. I told her that I should not have to pay it because I was given the wrong information when I purchased the phone. She said that since I had already recieved one bill for the phone that all she could do was a courtesy credit of 30.00. Well I asked her that since the first month was free this was auctually the first bill I had gotten with the charge for text. I got her supervisor on the phone and they were very short with me and aggravated me even more than I already was at this point in time. Even after the credits my bill was still over 250.00 as soon as my contracts run out I will be going with another cell company. When in Wv I was with another company that does not work in Nc but my bill was only 75.00 a month for 3 phones, 1000.00 minutes and unlimited text, I WILL find another one like that one.
