JEWISH LIFE & STYLE SUN COUNTRY, formerly known as JEWISH LIFE & STYLE LAS VEGAS, misrepresents advertising information. They lie about circulation, stating they are read by "160,000 readers throughout the Las Vegas, Phoenix Tuscon and Scottsdale" areas.
I was told initially magazines were sent directly to homes, and later found out they have drop off locations. None of the drop off locations I visited had the magazines available. The ad cost my company thousands of dollars; we received 0 calls in response to the ad.
They advertise the magazine will be read by the "afflunet Jewish reader", but the publication is apparently not getting to many readers.
After doing research, it was discovered this Magazine has no advertising or reader support in the Las Vegas area. Furthermore, this free publication was removed from all synagogues in Las Vegas, due to the publishers bad reputation. The Las Vegas Board of Rabbis actually were offended at the "attack-style" of reporting she was doing, and insisted upon removal of the magazine from all houses of worship.
BEWARE OF JEWISH LIFE & STYLE MAGAZINE, CAROLINE ORZES, PUBLISHER and her advertising solicitors when they call your business. You will not get your advertising dollars back, and you'll be in for a very unpleasant experience working with this unprofessional group of people.
