I attempted to sell my old cell phone to this company for $80.00. After not responding to numerous email requesting the status of my phone. I received a message that was backdated 5 days prior to when it was sent stating that the offer had been reduced. The significance of the back dated message is that according to their terms and condition you have 48 hrs to reject the offer.
Even though in the body of the email it was backdated as you know all emails are date and time stamped so the correct date does appear on the email. After making a fuss about the backdated message I was instructions on how to retrieve my phone I was asked to send $20.00 for shipping even though their websites says that the fee is $18.00 w / in 7 days.
I did send the money order and ensured that it was recieved w / in the 7 days. They returned the money order and now claim that MY cellphone is their property even though I adhered to their terms regarding rejecting their offers. I have gotten my phone or the $80.00 that is owed to me.
I have contacted the Attorney General in Texas regarding their business practices so that no else has the misfortune of going through this.
