Moving ripoff corrupt moving business Extorsion breach of contract will hold your stuff hostage

After speaking with Jumoke of Personal Relocation services (the smooth talking salesman of this operation) they had me convinced they were a legit business who just offered a great price. After three months preparation for the move we had set a pick up date of Monday July 10 which they called to confirm 3 days earlier and we were set to go. On Monday I waited around until about noon when I called to see where they were. They informed me a commercial move came up which took priority to my move and they would be there before 9:00 on Tuesday the following day. On Tuesday they did not show up until 2:00 at which point they loaded my goods very unprofessionally damaging my walls and property. Upon pickup I was required to pay half of the estimated value which I paid by credit card (thank God). I would pay the remaining half by credit card on delivery

Because of there lateness I had to reschedule flights to my destination on the west coast which cost me 200 dollars in change fees (for two people). I called to discuss this and how I would be compensated. I was told I would be provided a discount but that we should just focus on completing the move right now and we would discuss the discount latter.

The contract we had signed clearly stated that west coast deliveries would take 10-14 days guaranteed. So with a July 11th pickup my property should be delivered by the 25th of July. On July 30th I called the dispatcher Guy Ailam who informed me there was a problem and my stuff was still in the warehouse in MD. I was not provided any further details. Any discussion of a discount or details would result in the comment we will talk about that latter lets just get you your stuff first.

On August 4th I was called by Guy Ailam and told that there was a problem with my stuff at the California animal and plant inspection facility and it was being quarantined. He told me to contact a gentleman named Adi who I latter found out is the owner of a LA based moving company named Globus. Adi told me I had to fill out some forms to release my property however I never received these forms or any further detail.in another 10 days I called Adi and he told me that everything was taken care of with no other detail.

On August 14th Adi called me to tell me my stuff would be delivered the next morning between 8 and 11. I was told I had to pay the remaining balance which had increased slightly (not too much) by cash or money order before the driver would unload. I agreed even though I wanted to pay by credit card as our contract had clearly stated.

The morning of the delivery I was contacted by the owner of Smooth Move Yigal Suisa (AKA) Jay and told that I had to pay him the full amount of the move via Cash (even though I had already paid half upon pickup) this would be 150% of the not to exceed price. I told yigal that I had already paid half and he made up some story trying to legitimate the increase. I told him I would like to see the documentation and weight reports (as I don't think my stuff weighed even half of the estimate).

He told me the driver would have all of this but I needed to pay him via western union in full before the driver would even come near my house. I was not allowed to see any documentation and was told I would get a refund if needed latter. Ya Right I'm not stupid. I am willing to pay this criminal but not until I see my stuff. Cash on delivery. At the end of the day I finally conceded to wire the money and after trying three western unions all of which are out of order I told him it wasn't possible and he flipped out on me. He made threatening remarks which if taken literally would implicate him criminal activity and the stereo typical gangster. When I referenced the contract and my desire to make good on the contract within its terms and conditions, he responded I don't care about the contract or the law. Yigal Suisa, Guy Ailam, and Jumoke are far from legit business men. And are thugs as far as I'm concerned. At this time August 16th they still have my stuff in LA with Globus moving. I was told this morning after having the MD Attorney General's office call Yigal that he has increased the price he demands $750 for re-delivery and that he will only accept cash in his hand via western union before the delivery of my goods will even be made!

Because I don't feel I need all that stuff and I can survive with out it, just as the US government will not negotiate with terrorists, I will not negotiate With Yigal Suisa and his attempts to hold my stuff hostage are futile.

However I am willing to pay the contractually agreed upon price on delivery and inspection of my stuff. And since I would like to get my stuff back as anyone would, if anyone knows how I can go about getting help with this please contact me!
