I was quoted $900.00 for my move from Fast Relocation. I signed a binding quote for a minium move of 1400lbs. First thing is they called me at 2:00pm the day before the move and tired to get me to move my move to Sunday instead of Saturday. I refused and told them I had everything planned for that Saturday. They said fine and then changed the pick up time to later. A girl by the name of Theresa said she would call me back with the pick up time and never did.
Once the Driver arrived his name was Mike, the first thing he did was look at my stuff and the first thing out of his mouth is that it was going to be more money. He kept telling me I had more then 1400lbs, which I know I did not. He made me sign all paper work before he would do the move. Then I told him I was told they would be delivering to Las Vegas the sameday and he told me they do not do sameday deliveries. Also I was told that I could pay 60% of the $900.00 in a personal check and then pay the rest in cash only at the delivery. When the driver got there he told me they would only take cash and that I could pay all at the end.
Once it was loaded he told me they would be taking my stuff to get weighed and then they would call me with the weight. I got a call 4 hours later from Theresa telling me my stuff re-weighed to 3500lbs. I told her there was no way that I had that much weight. I also told her that I was going to report them to the BBB since they were ripping me off.
After all that they tell me that the delivery will be there by 3:00pm on Sunday. 3:00pm rolls around and no driver. I called Theresa and she told me the driver had left already. Then 2 hours later I get a call from Theresa telling me she was miss informed and the driver had an air conditioning problem and had not left yet. She now changed my delivery time to 9:00pm. 9:00pm rolled around and the driver was still not there. After all was said and done the driver did not arrive until 10:30pm.
Then they started to unload my stuff and the first thing that was broke was my antic dining table. Then they broke two of my side tables and my entertainment center. I tried calling the company on Monday to file a claim and the number was no longer good. I just happen to have the drivers number from the delivery. I called him and he gave me the number to Mike from the pick up. I called him and he told me they were moving and that someone would call me the next day. I never got the call. I called him again today and he told me again someone would call me and I have still heard nothing.
My advise to anyone that talks to this company is run as fast as you can away from them. They are the worst, underhanded and cheating company I have every encountered. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.
Someone needs to put them out of business and report them to the IRS since they will only take cash, which probably means they do not pay any taxes.
