The movers did not speak basic English. I could not communicate with them at all and had to call the company and have them translate. The company told us it would cost twice as much they originally quoted to get our things from our old house to the new one which was only 10 mins. Away. This company is located in Morton Grove / Skokie, IL.
When the movers finally got to my new location, they refused to unload the furniture until we paid in cash and in full. My wife was at our old location not even 10 mins. Away and she had the cash on her and they new it but would not unload our furniture at the new home. I could see if this was a bad location but we were in the suburbs of Chicago and a 300K home. We were told our deposit would be applied toward the balance. They dropped my lamp, damaged my walls and carpet and their claims company still have not paid my claim. This was one of the worst experiences in my life!
Do not, I repeat, do not do business with this company!
