Sold me a laptop with a virus alredy on it n also gave me a second one that the crystals in the screen were broken n caused me to have no screen after 2 weeks of ownership

I Neilla Saiz bought a a laptop at the following store Leaders Del Hogar. The purpose of buying the laptop was for my daughter. So she went to pisk it up which was the first one out of 3.

Well the first laptop picked up was given to my daughter already used. All the items were already downloaded in the laptop by someone else. So for the usage time it also had a virus in it already. So i gave my daughter permission to talk to the store about this. She was directed by the salesperson who sold us the laptop whose name is Gilbert Ortiz. He instructed my daughter to call a man named Paul who deals with the laptops. She was told by Paul that she wasn't the only one that had problems with the laptop in the store there were several others, so the best thing to do was to return it to Leaders n ask for an exchange.

M y daughter did exactly that. At the same time my daughter asked if the contract was going to be redone because of serial numbers not matching the contracts she was told it wasnt necessary. So my daughter brought the next one home n within 2 weeks of ownership of that one the screen was starting to show a big red blotchy line down the middle of the screen. My daughter called paul n told what the problem was. Paul had stated that there might be a problem with the crystals in the screen that i needed to bring it in to be looked at.

Well my daughter did that but also she expressed that she needed her laptop as soon as possible that if she could get a loaner until hers comes back. It was arranged for her to get a loaner. The loaner brought to her wasnt not workable condition. My daughter agaon called the store n explained the situation. My daughter agin had to call Paul n tell him the problem. Paul stated that he would come see the problem. Paul did come out n seen the problem it was a poor antennae signal for wireless connection to the internet. Paul had said he would bring my daughter another antennae.

Now Paul had called back n stated that he had a laptop my daughter could keep n when the original laptop came back he would deal with it. That made my daughter happy. So now my daughter had went n bought some items for this 3rd laptop because she was told she can keep it.

Well, my daughter got a call 3 to 4 weeks later from Paul stating her laptop has arrived at the store n that the store wanted the laptop that he had given to my daughter to keep back because the serial numbers on the laptops didnt match the contracts. So my daughter understood n took the laptop back to the store not knowing what was to occur to happen when she got to the store.

My daughter arrives to Leaders n was told to see Marcos one of the store managers. Marcos took the laptop that Paul had given to her n showed my daughter the one that had been sent out to be fixed. The laptop came back still broken but even worse than it was. My daughter told Marcos she wasnt leaving till she got the laptop Paul had given her as promised back. Marcos stated that the laptop was sent back broken because the manufacturer said the crystals were broke by someone hitting the screen or dropping the laptop. My daughter stated that the laptop had never been dropped or anything that she had it only for 2 weeks.

Marcos told my daughter she needed to talk to Bill the other manager. She had to wait 20 minutes for Bill. Bill stated she had to keep the broken laptop n that Paul would get the other laptop back. This made myt daughter veryu upset that now she was lied to n also thatshe went thru 3 laptops n not a ne of them were written down in writing or the contract redone.

So now my daughter has a broken laptop which the screen doesn't work. I asked the store to go ahead n take the merchandise back with me not wanting any money back that i would just let it go as a bad experience. My daughter is very upset n that the best thing to do is just take the merchandise back n i would go somewhere else. Bill insisted on me paying $200.00 to fix the screen. I expressed that I paid $460.00 already for the laptop n i couldnt affors anymore that it was best he just took the merchandise back with no money given back to me. He is refusing so I did tell him I was reporting him to the business bearu.

To me this is bad business. Ive tried in all ways that I could and for me to want the money back and loose I was willing to do just to get rid of the stress on my daughters behalf n get rid of the bad experience with them.
