I received a phone call from American Computer Supplies, Inc.in early May stating they had ink cartridges for our printers that would last twice as long as store bought and wanted to give us a quote. They quoted me $70 for the HP LaserJet 4. Office Depot charges $103 for the cartridges. When I agreed, they said they would send me 2 ink cartridges and that one would be free as a promotion. When the cartridges arrived price was $140 for 1 cartridge and N/C for the other.
Several weeks later I received another call from American Computer Supplies, Inc. Saying that then needed to complete my order and that they were sending out 2 more cartridges at $140 each. I said I thought the price was $70 and was told that they last twice as long so the cost is $140. I said I was not interested and would refuse the delivery. They said that they had a contract with us for the purchase of 4 cartridges. I told them I never agreed to purchase 4 cartridges and that we have never signed a contract. They said it was a verbal contract and that they would be contacting my boss and hung up abruptly.
