Is it proper for a repairman to use my warranty to buy parts for himself?
Last week a Sears Home Central repairman from L.A. Metro East, came to fix my refrigerator.
He said that it needed a new fan. The repair man had to order the part. He ordered two. One for my refrigerator, and one himself.
Today, June 22, he came to fix the refrigerator. He replace the fan, and kept the other one for himself, but charged it to our warranty.

When asked about it, he became angry and said that the warranty belongs to "his" company, and he could do anything he wanted.
We explained that if he charged us for it to our account, then the fan should be ours.
He became even angrier, and begun to challenge us to do anything about it.
So we are.
We want to know if he is allowed to do that. And is he using other people's warranties to buy parts for himself, to resell later?
