I have had a complete nightmare of a time with this company. I ordered flowers online for the funeral of my 21 year old friend. Her family was only in town for one day so I wanted to make sure that they recieved the flowers on time. I called (and payed the 8.95 surcharge) and placed the order 2 days in advance (should have been pleanty of time considering they advertise next day service)
I was assured by the person on the phone that my order was correct and that I would be notified in the event of questions/problems.
The day of the funeral I waited for my order to arrive... When it did not arrive by 2:30 pm I started to become nervous and called 1800roses. I was told that they had to pull up my file and call the florist and that they would call me back in no more than an hour. At 4 pm I had not recieved a call back so I called again. This time I was put on hold, hung up on and so I called again... Long story short I called the last time and they told me the florist was closed and that I would have to call back the next day.
I called in the morning the next day, and yet again explained my situation... The woman hung up on me (keep in mind that I was still being very nice at this point) when I finally (2 hours later) got a person to talk to me they told me that my order was never recieved. I asked how that was possible since my credit card had been charged the amount for the flowers. They told me they would deliver them the next day. When asked what would be done since the recipient would be gone by then they told me that they would give me 20% off my next order. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told that she would call me back.in the meantime the flowers arrived, NOT AT ALL WHAT I ORDERED!!!
By this time I had found this report and the owner's phone number (Jeet Mandair 604.644.2222) and after not recieving a call back twice that day gave him a call.
He told me I had awaken him (at 2 pm) and to call and speak with Rebecca, she would take care of me.
I called Rebecca, who was nice, she explained that I would need to wait for her to call me back to see about a refund. (for about an hour)
The next day I called back (since yet again I had not recieved a call back) and she told me I was in her pile to recieve a refund and I should see it in 2-4 days.
8 days later I am again on hold waiting for rebecca (who answered the phone and then dissappeared)
PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY, YOU WILL REGRET IT!!!
