I have had Cricket phone service since July. I got it when Cricket was just coming into this area (oregon) and got all kinds of specials. It was a pre-pay plan.
On the 22nd of every month since, I have paid my bill. Today, May 22, I go online to look at my bill and don't understand why the numbers don't add up.
There was not a way to contact or email anyone on-line. I called the company and for over an hour, no kidding, I went round and round with a rep regarding a pre-pay vs post-pay.
When did my pre-pay flip and why wasn't I notified?
I pay the same $40 each and every month, and while my total bill is just under $40, I also wanted to know why I don't have a credit.
Where does the extra cents go every month?
No good answer. The rep was reading a script and never moved off that script.
I told the rep I wanted to pay my bill - since now I owe them money - but wanted to cancel my service. How could I do that?
She forwarded me to another rep who wanted me to keep my service, because I had been such a good customer for so long, and offered to credit me with this month's amount owed.
I thanked her for her generosity, but guess what. She didn't credit my account. So I still owe for my bill and still don't know how I got on a post-pay from a pre-pay.
