I joined BMG Music Service and have ordered CD's and paid for them. Then after allowing my 2 teens to order CD's I received a call from a TELEPHONE MARKETER for this company.
The solicitor spoke so fast I was not able to understand anything but BMG Music, which he said clearly and that I am a "valued customer". Everything else was spoken too fast. I told the person on the telephone that he had to slow down because I could not understand him, he seemed to find this amusing. He would slow down then speed right up again.
I told him three or four times that I was unable to understand a word he was saying but that I did not want to buy anything other than what I order myself. He kept talking his jibberish and mentioned something about certificates and paying shipping and handling, I told him I was not paying for shipping & handling for certificates and that I did not want anything.
Again, his jibberish continued and I could not understand him. The following day, I emailed BMG Music with my complaint about this telephone marketer and I received an apologetic response and was told they would look into it.
Now, I keep receiving emails telling me that my order has shipped. There are three orders shipped that I did not order. I wrote to them again today. I would like to know where I go to file a formal complaint about this company. I don't feel that I am responsible to pay for anything I did not order and I told them in my email that I am not paying for shipping for return items, I will simply mark them "RETURN TO SENDER" and I'm not paying for the CD's.
CONSUMERS BEWARE. Bmg music service - clearly con artists out to rip you off. I would think they get enough orders without having to steal from consumers. I knew when I hung up the phone that the person who REFUSED to speak clearly (no accent just talking jibberish too fast) was ripping me off, that is why I contacted BMG via email immediately.
