Sales rep Ben & telemarketed me for this service, I said "not interested" due to previous experiences with other lead companies poor quality leads and having to compete with too many other agents buying the leads. He assured me they "scrub" all leads and that typically I'd only be competing with 1 or 2 other agents, again I declined.
Then Sean Whitely got on the phone, we spoke at great length about my concerns, he again stressed that all leads would be "scrubbed" (pre-qualified for their seriousness about buying/selling real estate) and that only 1-2 other agents would also get the leads.
So I agreed to buy 6 leads per month for 6 months based upon Seans assurances.
I received 4 leads the following week, I spoke with 2, both of whom stated that they had received at least 14-20 agents calls in the first day and to please stop, (5 came from my brokerage alone) neither had any interest in selling and both said they had NOT been contacted by Realtytracker to ensure their seriousness.
I felt that Sean lied to me in order to get the sale, I called to cancel my agreement and was told that according to their "term-conditions" that they do not cancel agreements, I've left several messages for Sean and have not heard back, I've filed a complaint with the BBB and will soon file with the CA Attorney Generals office for deceptive advertising/telemarketing.
