Ruined my wedding day! Ripoff

On April 22nd, I went to the store in Grand Rapids, Michigan, along with my bridesmaids, to place orders for their dresses for my wedding that it to take place on September 2.

During this visit, we worked with a "Phyllis G." To beging with, I didn't like her right from the start. She was very unattentive, and very unprofessional, about helping us out with what we wanted, and needed.

By the end of the visit, we had decided to order my jr bridesmaid's dress in LILAC, and in style JB100. We paid for the dress, and left assured that the dress was available, and would be for some time.

On Sunday April 30th, my sister in law, took herself and my niece to the David's Bridal in Cincinnati OH, where they were told that not only was the dress not available in LILAC, and hadn't been since April 13th, they were also told that the dress that we ordered had been ordered in a Victorian lilac... Not the lilac that we had been promsed.

I called the store to verify this, and the girl "Jennifer" told me that, yes, the dress that we ordered on Aprill 22nd, was NOT ordered in lilac, but Victorian. I hung up the phone very upset and angry.

Today, May 1st, I visited the store, and asked to speak to a manager. Conveniently, the manager was on a "conference call." I explained my situation to the woman at the front, and she insisted that she could help me.

She informed me that the dress was in fact ordered in a Victorian Lilac, and that Lilac was not available. Upon my insistence that the sales woman had lied to me, and the women with me that day, she told me that there was probably a communication error. She offered to show me different dresses in that lilac color, but I don't want different dresses. She also never ONCE apologized for the screw up, on the store's part.

At this time, I also wanted to make sure my Matron of Honor had her dress ordered. Well come to find out, the idiot sales person had placed the wrong dress in the computer for her!!! Again, no apology, just an "I'll fix it." I felt like a complete moron, and she treated me as such the whole visit. I have never had anyone made me feel more awful in my life.

I left David's Bridal even more angry than when I went in it!

I want a refund on my money for BOTH the jr bridesmaid dress that was ordered in the wrong color, and for the Matron of Honor dress, since it was put in the computer wrongly by the sales person.

I want a letter of apology from David's Bridal for their rude sales people, the lies that I have been told, and for the unprofessionalism that I have experienced. This is for my wedding day; it's supposed to be the biggest day of my life, and David's Bridal has ruined that for me...
