Just found out I've been getting billed by Eclub Marketing $19.05 for every quarter I've had Dishnetwork. I've never subcribed to Eclub, only to Dishnetwork. Didn't know who Eclub Marketing was until I looked it up on the internet
I called Dishnetwork to complain and the contact person I talked to at first acted like he didn't know who Elub Marketing was until I told him my problem. He then gave me the Eclub Marketing phone number to contact them.
So, I contacted Eclub Marketing and told them I never subscribed to them and why am I getting billed. I'm getting billed because I signed on with Dishnetwork. They went on to tell me that signing with Eclub Marketing was optional. Optional?!! I told them I don't recall ever being given a choice to sign on with Eclub.
Also, I've have never given my consent for my account number to be handed out to a 2nd party. I signed with Dishnetwork, no one else. How did Eclub Marketing get my account number? I can only think one way... Dishnetwork. Dishnetwork is responsible for this libable action.
I managed to get my account cancelled at Eclub and get only one refund back. They will not refund the rest of the money they took without my permission. Reason is because their quarters had already ended, I can only get it back in an open quarter.
I've lost almost $60 since I've had Dishnetwork and Eclub is refunding me $20. I hold Dishnetwork in total responsibility for not being up front with me. Getting billed without my consent is stealing, and not letting me know that they put me with Elcub marketing was sneaky.
I want to go on record that Dishnetwork and Eclub Marketing are dishonest to their customers. What they do is no different from scam artists and this is fraud!!
