Crooked Return Policies complaint North Point Mall ripoff Atlanta

Usually I don't ask the return policies unless it's a high priced item such as electronics and so on. But in this case it was addressed to me, I was about to buy $50-$70 worth of clothes, the clerk said do you know what our return policies are? And of course I said No, but please tell me. She said the item must be returned with in 21 day of purchase and the tag must be attached (they have a tag gun to attach tags, I don't see why u cannot bring the tag back not attached would be such a problem unless the item looked worn, at first I was like yeah sure till) she said also even if the tag where attached that they don't always except the returns and that it depends who the manager is that day. Hmm let me think, "Who the manager is that day" kind of fishy yes?

I work for promotions and our goal usually is similar as their goal who makes the most sales (handouts in my case) and maybe (just a thought) if there store is doing well compared to there returns well if they sell, sell, sell and no returns makes there store look good right? I asked well what if I decide I will wear it and take the tag off and the hems don't keep up with in say tomorrow to the 21 days? (Some items that are cheap made, the hems tend not to hold up hence makes a hole after one wash or wear depending on the material) and I asked what happens if the hems don't keep up and makes a hole and if I wanted to return it and exchange or store credit, she said probably not and if the tag is attached they MAYBE will take it back with the recipe and then addressed again who the manager is that day I'm like what if I bring the tag off and the receipt, she said no... I'm like where is that in writing, I saw a paper sign there but it didn't have there store name on it and it wasn't signed by anyone... I'm like you need to tell your manager to change that, and she could care less to listen to me. Then she said very rudely well do you want the clothes or not I'm like no it could be illegal purchase. (was upset at this point)

And yes I'd understand this as if it where undergarments. But this was for shirts and pants. And yes most of us know our experiences with cheaper made clothes that don't keep up with in the 21 days its most of the time hems and the bad dye.

So basically if you make a bad purchase at a store they have the right not to accept it. Or do they? Shouldn't we have rights on returning an item as well? Even though its cheap money wise and quality wise, why bother even complaining? Well if you like to keep up this then fine, but if you want to compare to the price and quality look at the return policies in the mall its in, also stores such as marshals, TJ Max, even if I dare say Wal-Mart all have better return policies and its not based on a if to a most likely no factor these stores have respected return policies. I complain b/c its in a mall, where we shouldn't have such problems and should have better return policies then that and it should be brought up to the same as other stores. I hear not all Forever 21 stores are rude mannered, and have different return policies, well I do suggest they change this one to the place its in, a very nice middle to upper class area. And I only complain here because it sounds too crooked to me, because I stressed on damaged clothes they also mean good clothes too (receipt, tag attached and was never worn or washed). Also this would of never happened if she didn't tell me what the return polices are and also spending the $50 at marshals and bought similar clothes for even cheaper. If they actually have to say it makes you think they do get a lot of problems with returns. If so why not change it to better suit them AND the customers?

Why should I care if I think their clothes are cheep made, I respect the designer their styles are cute and I do like the store, but I don't like the rotten people with it. And their so called policies. I' would have respect it but not if they most likely will not accept returns from people and I rarely return lol. But I strongly suggest they change their return policies, and will not buy from that store. If I run by another store in my area I'll check it out, as long as they are not as rude and crooked.
