First I tried to return a used game and was told it must be defective in order for me to return it for exact exchange even though on the receipt it says full refund within 7 days for used games.
Next it says open accessories can also be exchanged for full refund within 7 days, not true either, as per carlos of them flushing gamestop it must be defective as well, but it doesn't state it on receipt.
Next I had a defective psp with store warranty, within 2 days of purchase. The psp was defective and was returned for a brand new sealed psp, I called up corporate and check if I can just return everything, I don't want to run into another defective psp and was told it's up to each individual store, but the receipt clearly states returns on new sealed items for refund as long as I have the receipt.
Basically the return policies posted at GameStop don't count, it is up to each store on how they want to interpret the policies.
