Certegy Payments
How can a company succeed with the lack of ability to provide the service they are claiming to provide for their consumers (the companies actually paying them for this ridiculous menutia they call collections). I bounced my first check in over 15 years back in December. I have received numberous phone calls from Certegy (a minimum of daily). Once I pick up the phone there is no one there! I have briefly tried to call the number on the so-called collection statement they have sent me and I get put on hold.
With their hours only being 8a-8p CST, I do not have the time during work hours to sit and wait on someone to talk to me about paying this debt - and I DO want to pay this and get it taken care of. I have three children under the age of 5 with a full-time job and do not have time to spend running all over town to get a money order simply because Certegy cannot step into the current era and make it feasible to pay online or over the phone!
There is no e-mail address or website address on the notification they sent me at all. When I go to their website, the only information there is targeted towards the companies they are attempting to buy into this scam they call collections. I have never seen such a lack of ability to do the job on the part of a so-called major corporation. I just wonder if their clients are aware of this incompetency on their part?
My next e-mail is to Academy Sports as that is where the check bounced. I hope that this one along with that one will serve in either getting Certegy on board with attempting to fulfill their committments to their corporate clients or in putting them completely out of businees. Oh, last note: I actually bounced two checks in December. The other one has been PAID since January as it was collected by another agency who actually listed their website address as "to pay online" on their correspondence.
