This complain for moving my house hold items from Denver CO to Schaumburg, IL. I was told by the movers Atlantis Van Lines that the truck will reach within 14 business days. I used to call them everyday to get the update but the receptionist do not have the update on the status of the despatch and she used to tell Charlie is the person who handles despatch. But Charlie never picks up the phone. One day he pickd up the phone and told me we will load the truck on 3rd March and you will get your items on 6th March which is the last day of the 14 business days timeline commited by Atlantis. My Items are on hostage for no reason. Now I saw many complaints in BBB and Ripoff reports against Atlantis Van lines. I am unfortunate I did not have this information before hand. I have already made a payment of $889 to them. Don't know I would get my items back from Atlantis or not. I am really having tough time with my 19 months old baby without furnitures and house hold items. It's been more than a month we are passing our days without furnitures, but they don't care.
