Well This Ripoff all started in 03 and I actually signed up for a Sprint Phone. Only Problem was every time i called Someone Willie Jackson Showed up on Everyones caller ID, My name isn't Willie Jackson. So I talked to sprint and they said his name is still in the System and thats why its still coming up and that confused me so much right there because Its my phone and my account, his name shouldn't be on there.
Then after the first month goes by and I get a bill and it was like 300 bucks and I am freaking out because i didn't use it that much so i am looking at the charges and nothing was adding up. Mind you i was 20 years old at the time and havn't done much traveling out of my town, and i see phone numbers that were called constantly and they aren't even With in 2 hours of my house. So i talked to sprint and they ended up taking around 100 bucks off the bill.
Now Next months bill comes and its the wrong name on the bill and I call up sprint and tell them i have the wrong bill and they said give me the account number on the bill and i did and it showed up as being the correct bill. So i fought and fought with them forever on this and for 3 straight months i recieved the incorrect bill with the wrong name on it so i told them i won't pay it until i get a corrected bill with my name on it. Finally they sent me to collections and Thats where Calvary Portfolio comes in to play because the bill i had at home was for 565.00 and i should have only owed 65.00 dollars on that bill.
So i called up Calvary Portfolio and told them my problem and he just kept asking me for my Credit Card and SS# and i told him i am not paying a bill without my correct name on the bill. So I talked to a Manager and He told me he was going to talk to sprint and figure it all out and get back to me but never Did. Recently I ran a credit report on my self and noticed its still on there for 565.00 and just talked to them on the phone and they said they cannot do anything for me and they recently handed my file over to another agency. So now i am Stuck with this Bill that has been reduced down to 367.00 because of a settlement. I am hoping someone can help me out with this and give me some direction to go with this.
My only advice to people is DON"T WORK WITH SPRINT AT ALL. They have been scamming people forever and will keep on Scamming People.
