After seven, 7, months and numerous calls I still have not received the $49.99 rebate. After each call it take "3 to 4 weeks to process" and nothing happens

Purchased SBC Yahoo DSL in July and filed the rebate form in August.initial follow up indicated they had not received the form. Sent fax November 28. Called to learn the "check was mailed 12/6" but it was never received. Called January 3 and told them to Stop Payment and reissue. Was told the process will take 3 to 4 weeks. At that time I told them I process Stop Payments in 3 to 4 days and questioned why it takes AT&T 3 to 4 weeks. Received no good explaination. Called today, February 27 and was told they would request a check which takes 3 to 4 weeks to process. AT&T said they have too many to control and the company is dependent on customers calling to complain. Will be surprised if I ever receive the rebate. Would welcome a class action suit or government intervention. It is obvious their rebate program is designed to be a rip off; delay payment as long as possible.
