Mail-in-Rebate Ripoff Fraud Claim Denial Internet

I recently purchased an X2gen 19" monitor from TigerDirect which had a $50.00 mail in rebate attached to the deal processed by www.rebatehq.com. I sent my rebate form in as specified on July 15. I waited until October 3 when I received an email explaining the rebate center received my rebate form with a tracking number. I tracked my email, which showed it was invalid. I immediately emailed them on October 4 explaining my rebate is a valid rebate and I followed all submittal requirements (I have scanned copies of all information submitted). Then on October 5 I received an email back stating my rebate submission is now valid and a rebate check will be sent out in the next 4-6 weeks. I waited and no rebate was received. I then called the rebate center after looking for a contact number for 20 minutes on the web because none is provided on their web site (great business practice). I was then told that because my rebate was only received recently in October they had something like 19 weeks to process the check but that they would expedite my check and I should have it by the end of December. After explaining to them I sent it in July and that because they responded back that they received it in October does not equate to it being received in October. They told me the claim starts now, in October and it was not worth arguing about since they claimed my rebate would be sent expeditiously and to check on their web site for updated information using my tracking number. No check was received.

I then followed up on their website again to check the status. The status states the check was issued December 8, still no check. Finally, on January 31 I called the same number I found on the web for the rebate center (1-866-206-8800) and was told first by Customer Service Representative, Mary Employee #G-0149 that the check was issued but it was returned because it was sent to Omaha, I live in Arizona. I then asked what needs to be done to have a new check issued to the correct address. After several minutes on hold she told me a new check will not be issued because it has now been labeled an invalid claim. I then asked to speak with her Manager, she put Charlie Employee #G-0001 on the phone and he said the claim was invalid and they will not issue me a check, end of story.
